Biography: Welcome, to my web page. I was born and raised in Milford, CT. As a boy growing up in the mid 1950's early 60's I experience a Tom Sawyer-like life where dogs roamed free, I played outside until 5:00 when mom opened the door and yelled supper, I knew it was time to get in the house. I got up to change the TV channel or layed on the floor in front of it. There were horses across the street and directly behind them was the railroad tracks; I never knew what side I lived on. I always loved music and sports; I have played drums since I was four and listening to the Yankee games on the radio with Mel Allen calling the games. I admired The Beatles, Mickey Mantle, Muhamed Ali and Joe Nameth. I liked my life and my town.
Drumming taught me to pay attention to details, to be responsible to know my part and add creativity and foundation to a band - a team is how I approached music. A jazz musician was once quoted as saying "there are no mistakes, just new parts”, and I believe that in music, life and business one must pay attention, have fun, be positive and good will come; mistakes will happen - learn from them and get good enough that the mistakes are noticed less than the rights. I fell out of music without even noticing and began a painting business with my brother painting new construction condominiums and houses. That business got me interested in real estate and how it worked. In 1988 I put down my paint brush and got my real estate license and started on a new path. I have been a REALTOR® since 1988; a broker since 2002. Real Estate is challenging, but, I do enjoy the few moments each year when it seems that I helped someone get what they wanted. In 1996 I traveled to a Subway convention in Washington, DC to visit a friend and that city that I love. I was invited to a dinner party my first night in DC and sat next to a woman whose posture was perfect she sat strait and I took notice. Marilee, my wife was that woman; she my partner in life and business; I could not resist - I only hoped that she could overlook that my posture was not as strait. Together we began eDrake Real Estate in 2004; I made a good decision for myself. I care about my clients and agents. I enjoy the challenges of real estate and bringing success to the people represented by our company. eDrake Real Estate is an independent real estate company. We believe that selling or purchasing a home is a significant and personal choice we wnat the best for our clients.
