 Phone: 203-672-2721 Biography: Jan was born in New York City. After completing her education as a Registered Nurse, she married a career navy man and spent the next 20 years traversing the country. Determined to create a stable and settled feeling for her husband and 4 children in their 15 plus moves, she quickly learned to set up a comfortable home within days of a move.
She went on with her education at night while working in many areas of nursing throughout the country and obtained a Masters in Public Health in the 90’s. She owned her own home care agency for 10 years. This provided her with valuable business management experience and people skills. While visiting patients in countless charming San Francisco homes, she began studying real estate, architecture, staging and interior design. She has bought and sold many homes and investment properties and does all her own property management. Her expertise is in multi-family homes.
She and her husband, Bob, arrived in Connecticut in 2001 and fell in love with the New Haven area. They make their home in North Haven and are here to stay. They love the seasons and everything about this state and particularly the spirit of the people.
Jan sees her role as a realtor as much more than simply assisting clients to buy and sell property. She has often drawn on her experiences in home care and knowledge of future requirements to assist clients in decisions that will allow them to remain comfortably in their homes as their needs change. She makes a concerted effort to find a home for buyers that will fill their needs now and for years to come.
When assisting sellers, she utilizes her skills in staging and presenting a fresh uncluttered living space to potential buyers. Real Estate is more than a job for her, it is a passion for finding that perfect fit for all of her clients. |
